Dr Hugh Burton

Originally from Cambridge, UK Hugh studied Natural Sciences and a PhD in Chemistry at Cambridge and is interested in electronic structure theory. Away from quantum chemistry, Hugh enjoys hill-walking and the piano.
Freddie Burns

Freddie is a PhD student in the Quantum Engineering CDT at the University of Bristol. He is researching near-term quantum algorithms for excited-state energy surfaces, with applications to volatile small molecules in atmospheric photochemistry.
Cameron Brown

Cameron is a first year PhD student, interested in developing excited state-specific electronic structure methods. Cameron was born and bred in London and studied chemistry at Oxford. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, life drawing and cooking.
Ella Turtle

Ella is a Quantum Technologies MSc student researching excited state preparation on quantum computers. Previously, she studied Chemistry at the University of Bristol. Away from science, Ella enjoys weight training, music, and festivals.
Inigo Field

Inigo is an undergraduate student at New College, Oxford. He is researching discontinuities in mean-field potential energy surfaces to find new methods that counteract them. Outside of chemistry, he enjoys climbing and watching movies.
